    Cave Run Lake/Trail Area

    The Cumberland Ranger District is the northernmost district of the Daniel Boone National Forest. It is mostly known for Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge where visitors come to hike, swim, bike, camp, fish, hunt, canoeing, boating and for wildlife viewing.
