  • Twin Knobs Campground

The Twin Knobs Campground and Recreation area is a great place to stay for those wanting to camp in the great outdoors without being too terribly far from civilization. With over 200 sites within 700 acres, this wooded wonderland has everything you need including electric hookups, water hookups, bathhouses with showers and flush-able toilets, potable water, and a variety of paved sites that can accommodate most large RVs.

The Twin Knobs Recreation area also has a public access beach and picnic sites. For those not wishing to spend the night, the recreation area is open to the public for a day fee of $8 per car up to 5 people per vehicle, $2/walk in or cycle in. This includes access to the beach, trails, and picnic areas inside Twin Knobs. The beach is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Two trails lead from the recreation area, the Twin Knobs Shoreline Trail and the Knob Overlook trail which give beautiful views of Cave Run Lake.
