The Daniel Boone National Forest is home to lakes, rivers and streams where boating and swimming are enjoyed year round.

You are allowed to swim in most of the forest waterways, except in closed areas for protection of wildlife species or around developed areas such as boat ramps and marinas.

Visit the DBNF Water Activities webpage for other water activities, such as boating - motorized and non-motorized, scuba diving, tubing, and waterskiing.
